Andrew B. Minkin, MD

Undergraduate: University of Virginia
Medical School: University of Virginia
Internship: University of Minnesota Hospital
Residency: University of Minnesota Hospital
Fellowship: Medical College of Virginia
Certifications: American Board of Internal Medicine with Subspecialty in Gastroenterology
Special Interests: Diseases of the Gastrointestinal Tract, Liver, Gallbladder and Pancreas, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy, Colon Cancer Screening

Bio: After completing training in Gastroenterology in Richmond Virginia my first stop was in Cincinnati Ohio. For 16 years I was part of a large multispecialty group in Cincinnati centered at Good Samaritan Hospital, a 500 bed inter-city hospital. In mid-career it was time for a change. Thus the move from a large practice inter-city setting to a small independent practice in a rural Vermont. Over the past 18 years it has been an honor to be part of the Central Vermont community. I have found a love for golf at the CC of Barre and the CC of Vermont. My wife has found her life’s calling as a hospital chaplain at CVMC.
